Sales Representative (M/F)

FINSA is a family owned Spanish company designing and manufacturing technical and decorative solutions derived from wood to a worldwide diverse customer base. We currently employ over 3400 people however since inception we have not lost any of our core values and rely on our employees as our biggest asset. Today, FINSA is a worldwide reference in the industry and well known in Europe thanks to our wide product porftolio. We have in Ireland a sales office and a distribution centre, which is located in Drogheda, Co Louth. We are a small dynamic and welcoming organization with 12 employees.

As a Sales Representative you will be part of our sales team and you will aim to interpret our customer’s needs and technical requirements as well as to communicate our product features. Training will be provided however sound technical understanding is imperative.

Job Description:

  • Travelling to visit potential clients and searching for new clients who could benefit from our products throughout Ireland.
  • Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
  • Administering client accounts.
  • Preparing reports for sales meetings.
  • Meeting regular sales targets.
  • Recording and maintaining customer contact data.
  • Develop collaboration with selected business partners for mutual development of business.
  • Conducting pricing analysis on customer base, creating strategies for maximising return whilst ensuring customers remain loyal and fairly treated.
  • Design and manage sales activities and initiatives related to key accounts across the region with significant impact on overall results and objectives.
  • Understand and keep up to date with market trends and customer requirements, translate it to solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Support marketing by attending trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how certain products will meet customer needs.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Monitor financial & payment performance of key accounts, including accurate invoicing.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in sales in the area of ​​raw material (sheets) for manufacturers and carpenters and/or in the area of ​​construction projects is a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Sound judgement and good business sense.
  • Broad sense of planning and order focused on details.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Ability to self-manage and willingness to learn.
  • Good handling of work under pressure.
  • To be a positive person and to have ‘can do’ attitude, able to work remotely and be self motivated.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilience and tenacity. Independence.
  • Team work facility.
  • A full Irish driving licence.
  • Availability to travel is essential.
  • Essential verifiable work references.
